The Gallery’s mission is to represent CNY full-time working artists who have or are working toward national recognition and awards. The Gallery of CNY specializes in contemporary realism and impressionism depicting the region.  

 

We are currently seeking oil painters working to represent regional landscapes.  We are also interested in work representing historic and well-known local architecture and scenes.

Please note that the gallery is proud to represent a limited group of artists who we consider the best and most original artists of the area.  We truly appreciate your interest in becoming a part of the gallery but ask for your understanding if your artwork does not fit within our mission.

Please check back with the gallery (events page of website and/or sign up for email announcements) for juried show announcements.  This is an excellent way to show in the gallery and we are always looking for new artwork to introduce to our collectors through these shows.

Artist Submission

 

If you are interested in becoming a gallery artist, you will need the following:

1. 1.At least ten (10) images of your Body of Work Produced within the Last Year (slides, photos, website link): Include Artwork Size, Medium, Date Completed, Artist's Net Price of each work and/or Retail Price. (if the painting has already sold, include the sold price) 
   

2. 2.Current Resume / Biography: Include list of exhibitions, current & past gallery representation, awards & juried show entries
   

3. 3.Artist Statement: Include any notes about your current body of work
   

4. 4.List of Sales and Collectors  (this can be submitted after we go over your initial application
   

5. 5.Gallery Mission Statement: Include your sales and show goals. Please note your work productivity ie) how many paintings you produce in a year.
   

 

Submittal:  Mail or email images of your work and the above information. Please give us at least two weeks to review your submittal, then call or email for an appointment to meet and show your work in person at The Gallery of CNY.  We meet with artists before or after gallery hours.

*** Please do not 'drop by' by the gallery unannounced to show your artwork. We are committed to working with customers and collectors during gallery hours.
