The Gallery’s mission is to represent CNY full-time working artists who have or are working toward national recognition and awards. The Gallery of CNY specializes in contemporary realism depicting the region.  

 

We are currently seeking oil painters working to represent regional landscapes and architecture.  We are also interested in work representing the historic barns of Madison County and well-known local architecture and scenes.

Artist Submission

 

The Gallery works with a Jury Board to help direct decisions for the gallery.  If you are interested in becoming a gallery artist, you will need the following:

 

1. 1.Images of your Body of Work Produced within the Last Year (slides, photos, website link): Include Artwork Size, Medium, Date Completed, Artist's Net Price of each work and/or Retail Price 
   

2. 2.Current Resume / Biography: Include list of exhibitions, current & past gallery representation, awards & juried show entries
   

3. 3.Artist Statement: Include any notes about your current body of work
   

4. 4.List of Sales and Collectors
   

5. 5.Gallery Mission Statement: Include your sales and show goals. Please note your work productivity ie) how many paintings you produce in a year.
   

 

Submittal:  Mail or email images of your work and the above information. Please give us 5-7 days to review your submittal, then call or email for an appointment to meet and show your work in person at The Gallery of CNY.  We meet with artists before or after gallery hours. Please do not 'drop by' by the gallery unannounced to show your artwork. We are committed to working with customers and collectors during gallery hours.
